• Form committees, which give us a strong voice in the various aspects of the department and campus-wide GSA

Senators
Senators liason between CSE grads and campus-wide GSA with voting rights in GSA Senate. (representation based on student population)

Alternate Senators
Alternate Senators work as substitutes for the senators and has voting rights in GSA Senate when primary senators can not attend.

Colloquium Committee
The Colloquium Committee acts as a liason between CSE grads and the departmental Colloquium.

Conference Committee
The Conference Committee coordinates the annual graduate research conference. (research posters, presentations, refreshments, raffles, etc.)

Facilities Committee
The Facilities Committee represents CSE grads on the CSE Facilities Committee. The act as a liason between CSE grads and the IT administrative staff of CSE (computer lab upgrades, student account issues, policies, etc.)

Social Events Committee
The Social Events committee coordinates the annual Fall Fling and Spring outdoor social events.

Survey Committee
The Survey Committee coordinates web-based student surveys to gather opinion, student feedback, and conduct secure on-line voting.

Graduate Affairs Committee
The Graduate Affairs committee represents CSE grads on the CSE Graduate Affairs Committee. Liason for academic affairs, policies, curriculum matters, admissions.

Alumni and Career Placement Committee
The Alumni and Career Placement Committee works to maintain relations with and benefit from CSE graduate alumni. The committee pools together efforts from CSE Department, CSE Alumni, GSA, Student Career Placement Office and major employers to aid CSE grad students in job search and placement. (planning job fairs and tech expo events, inviting job recruiters from major companies, resume building workshops, etc)
